This is a Single Estate, Semi-Washed process coffee from the Matas de Minas region of Brazil. Matas de Minas is a micro-region on the eastern tip of the state of Minas Gerais. The region is notable for its unique landscape of picturesque rolling hills, atypical for Brazilian coffee regions. The region boasts amongst the highest altitudes available for coffee production in Brazil and tends to produce a number of competition winning lots of exceptional complexity and quality.
In our experience, when brewed as a pour-over, the toasty / nutty notes come forward. When pulled in an espresso shot the white chocolate and berry notes are more pronounced. Whatever brewing method you prefer, the Brazil Blonde is always a rich and tasty cup!
